Supported Integration Types
Neuroncx AI supports API-based integration with a wide range of external platforms. Common categories include:CRM Systems
Sync lead and patient records with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or custom-built CRMs. New contacts captured through Neuroncx AI channels flow directly into your CRM pipeline.
Hospital Information Systems
Connect to your HIS or EMR to automatically create or update admission records, appointment slots, and patient profiles when transactions reach defined stages in Neuroncx AI.
Payment Gateways
Integrate with payment processors to capture payment confirmations and update transaction statuses inside Neuroncx AI without requiring manual reconciliation.
How Integrations Work
Each third-party API integration follows the same general pattern: Neuroncx AI triggers an outbound API call when a specified event occurs (such as a transaction reaching a particular stage), passes the relevant data in the request body, and optionally processes the response to update fields within the platform. You can also configure inbound webhooks from third-party systems to push updates back into Neuroncx AI. The automation this enables includes:- A new appointment booked through a WhatsApp flow creates an admission record in your HIS
- A lead moving to the Converted stage in Neuroncx AI triggers contact creation in your CRM
- A payment confirmation from your gateway marks the corresponding transaction as Payment Received
- An updated patient record in your HIS syncs the revised details back to Neuroncx AI attributes
Configuring a Third-Party Integration
Third-party API configuration is managed through the Admin Console within Neuroncx AI. Navigate to Admin Console → Third-party Integration to access the configuration panel.Third-party API configuration is handled through the Admin Console and typically requires assistance from the Neuroncx AI support team. Reach out at [email protected] to initiate a new integration — the team will guide you through the setup, validate your API credentials, and test the data flow end-to-end before it goes live.
1
API Endpoint URL
Provide the base URL of the external system’s API. For example,
https://api.yourhis.com/v1/admissions. Neuroncx AI will POST or GET to this URL when the configured trigger fires. Make sure the endpoint is reachable from external IP addresses and that any firewall rules permit inbound requests from Neuroncx AI’s IP range (available from the support team on request).2
Authentication Credentials
Supply the authentication method and credentials required by the external API. This is typically one of:
- API Key — passed as a header (e.g.,
X-API-Key: your_key) or query parameter - OAuth 2.0 — client ID, client secret, and token endpoint URL
- Basic Auth — username and password encoded in the
Authorizationheader - Bearer Token — a long-lived or rotating token provided by the external system
3
Data Mapping Configuration
Define how fields in Neuroncx AI map to fields in the external system. For example, the
patient_name attribute in a Neuroncx AI transaction might map to full_name in your HIS admission payload, and transaction_id might map to external_ref. The support team will help you build and validate this mapping against both systems’ schemas.4
Trigger Configuration
Specify which Neuroncx AI events should fire the integration — for example, a transaction reaching the Confirmed stage, a form submission completing, or a specific attribute being updated. You can also set filters so only transactions from a particular channel or source trigger the call.
5
Testing and Go-Live
Before activating the integration in production, the Neuroncx AI support team will run end-to-end tests using sample transaction data to confirm that records are created correctly on the external system and that any response data is mapped back into Neuroncx AI as expected.
Best Practices
- Version your API contracts — if the external system’s API changes, notify the Neuroncx AI support team so the integration mapping can be updated before the old endpoint is deprecated.
- Monitor integration logs — the Admin Console’s Third-party Integration panel shows the status of recent outbound calls. Review these periodically to catch delivery failures early.
- Plan for failures — discuss retry logic and error handling with the support team during setup. Neuroncx AI can be configured to retry failed calls and alert your team if an endpoint becomes consistently unreachable.
