Introduction

The Payments report gives you a view of payment activity across your organisation for any selected date range. It tracks attempts, successful payments, collection amounts, and failures, grouped by branch, LOB, or shop, and lets you export the underlying records as a CSV. You can use this report to:
  • Review how much was collected in a given period
  • Identify payment failure and drop-off trends
  • Compare payment activity across branches or locations
  • Export payment-level data for finance reconciliation

Opening the Report

Open Data and Reports from the left navigation bar, then select Orders as the domain and Payments as the view.

Rules and Filters

Granularity sets how data points are grouped across the date range: Canonical sets the primary metric the chart and tiles measure:
Collection is a currency value, not a count. Switching to Collection changes the chart y-axis from number of payments to amount collected.
Grouping splits the chart bars by a dimension:

Payment Attempts Chart
The chart section shows Payment Attempts by X Label with a total count headline and a by date created tag indicating the date anchor in use. The x-axis is bucketed by the selected granularity. If a grouping dimension is selected, bars within each period are split by that dimension and colour-coded with a legend below. Use the four icons above the chart to switch the view: To compare this report against another filter or the previous period, see Comparing Reports.

Exporting Payments

Click Export Payments (top right) to open the export modal.
Export
The modal shows the date range being exported and offers two options: The export is a CSV file with one row per payment submission. The row count and amount totals match what is shown on screen for the same date range and filters.
Exports run as a background job. Download the file once the job completes.

Quick Reference

Refunded tile shows 0

Refund data is not yet available in the reporting layer. Recommended action: Use raw payment records from your payment gateway for refund figures in the interim.

Agent grouping returns an empty chart

Payments are triggered by system workflows and do not carry an agent at source. Grouping by Agent produces no data. Recommended action: Use Branch or Shop grouping to attribute payment activity to a location instead.

Saved Filters panel shows “None saved for this domain yet”

No filters have been saved for the Payments view. Recommended action: Click the bookmark icon in the breadcrumb bar after running a query to save that filter set for reuse.
